Dad as far as Mom I didn't want to upset you if she could pull through and recover. But things are not too good, so now is a good time to let you know, since you must have had a nagging sensation something wasn't right. As you know Mom had ovarian cancer back in 2003. It had already invaded the pelvic region and grabbed part of the bone. Classified as Category 3B not a good advanced stage to be in. I moved back from L.A to help her while she went through radiation. And in the meantime set up the posters business, and then went on to Jukes and other collectibles while staying in touch with L.A but I made it so I could work from home with little traveling if any until she could recover. She went through 3 brachyotherapies and 28 radiation sessions. Mixed with the GS drops an alternative medicine made in Uruguay it seemed to keep her strength in radiation and reduce the side effects. The tumor shrunk and had gone into remission after a couple of months of treatment. But then 6 months ago after Mom got back from her trip to China. I had already been there so mapped out her itinerary and she went with Leticia and Peter, Juan and Vives - Carlos Vives the famous Colombian singer's brother - and Bertha. The tumor recurred in the same site and immediately crippled and confined her to the bed. It continued to grow at an alarming rate. Morphine can't give her. She's allergic to it. So methadone was and is still the drug of choice. There was a shit load of other medications too, not unlike the boxes you shown me. But they only give her 15 days at a time because the diagnosis as i told you has been less than a month of life these last 3 months. We tried all kinds of alternative medicine, but she couldn't take anything orally. Essiac tea she couldn't keep it down her. She was on insulin replacement therapy with the same alternative medicine doctor from last time, but the overdose of Vitamin C the doctor was putting in her through the IV as well as other stuff like Potassium, Mistletoe otherwise known as Iscador a natural chemotherapy alternative never had an effect and sent her to hospital with inflamed face and blood clots internally. So had to stop that. Nothing left to try. I have her on magnetic therapy also listed as an alternative medicine in my giant book of alternative cancer therapy with proven cases, but doesn't seem to have helped her or put her on a course to recovery from terminal cancer. Also tried the Zapper that didn't do much but then couldn't combine it with some herbs she was supposed to take because she'd vomit anything she didn't like the taste of. So just got the magnets. In fact when your Christmas present finally arrived I used it for her, as it did show some sort of help to alleviate the pain. At first she was on 3 pills of methadone a day up to 6. Then when I did the magnets, special super neodymium ones placed strategically, the need of pills went down to just one a day and she was no longer in pain. When I left for Key West and come back she wasn't doing too bad and still able to walk outside.Although she's stubborn and takes the magnets off or doesn't sleep on the magnetic mattress pad I got for her too. She tosses it to one side. I guess she was fedup of wearing them and was expecting a miraculous cure from it. I finally put her back on the magnets again but she was already too feeble. And doesn't drink water. Won't touch it. Will only drink fruit juice. Feeding her a special diet even going all vegetarian was impossible. She wouldn't eat it. And the diet I put her on with no refined foods or sugars gets changed back to white rice and sugar as soon as I turn my back. I been enough of an annoyance to make sure she eats properly, but still nutrition alone is not enough. Right now she's in Melgar with Leticia. I've hired a nurse to take care of her at night as she has to make frequent trips to the bathroom and refuses to use the bedpan. But she can barely walk these days. And she has to take anti-nausea medication via a cathode installed in her arm. Leticia administers these 6 times per day to reduce the number of times she vomits daily. The localized tumor while not metastasizing to other parts of the body is inoperable because of the radiation damage present from the first time. They can't radiate the same area. Other traditional medicine such as surgery she's already had. She's already had a radical hysterectomy and this type of cancer is not treated with chemo. Not that traditional and accepted medicine is any good anyhow. They do more damage than good and almost always cause a recurrence later in other parts of the body. It's why the medical establishment cut off the survival rates at 5 years. They know this. You don't treat a weakened immune system by making it more weak. And that's what chemo and radio does. These so called Cancer survivors such as Lance Armstrong, they aren't heroes. They aren't survivors. Anyone can survive cancer. You just do nothing and let the medical establishment poison you or burn you and hopefully you recover for a little while or more. A real survivor is someone who survives terminal inoperable cancer. Why aren't those cases reported on the news? You don't hear of these although I'm sure they happen. So the doctor's diagnosis is that the tumor will eventually make the kidneys collapse as its pushing up against them. And that is all they are waiting for. They didn't give her a pelvic exenteration as she in her weakened condition the surgery would have been life threatening. Plus removing those organs still doesn't stop the growth and just would have added a further complication. Only thing that can happen now is a rare case of sudden remission but I don't see it happening if she can't keep food down her, and no longer has the will to live. Since she contracted a urinary infection three weeks ago and was hospitalized again, she has weakened considerably and spends most of the time asleep rather than wake up to this nightmare waiting to die and in constant pain and back up to 6 pills of methadone again. I still don't know what it is you have. I don't want to be an orphan before I reach 30.so you take care. So now you see why I haven't desired much to talk about this. Not much anyone can do. They pray daily. Had nuns come over, priests, healers. Reiki. Shamans. I've never believed in any of that but have tolerated it - most of the time - as they are deeply religious here. Don't have much left here for me. I just need to get rid of these jukes. This is why I put the building plans on hold at the land I bought. elton
